This page has an alternative sketch on Patreon and Subscribestar. When I write and storyboard a comic, I decide on poses and framing for every scene. Sometimes I try different ones or realize something doesn’t work and redo my initial storyboard. A page needs to work well by itself (that’s how it’s viewed online) but should also work well with other pages (in print or when read in succession). In this case the first draft had a pose too similar to page 19.
The comic updates twice a week (Tuesdays and Fridays) -thanks to the support of its readers – on Patreon and Subscribestar, which are always one page ahead of the free online comic- and every page has a clean version without text bubbles!
