I’m very pleased to announce that I signed with a French publisher La Musardine to publish The Cummoner in digital form in the French language! It’s a big deal for me, because France and Belgium are the biggest comics countries in Europe and French is kinda considered the language of comics here.
If you’re interested in purchasing The Cummoner in the French language, you can find it at:
I once again compiled some sketches and black-and-white illustrations to print a small 32-page artbook to take to cons! It’s available on Patreon and in the Cummoner shop! There are 3 versions: – digital book in pdf and cbz formats for $3 – printed book in black-and-white with color covers for $10 – printed book with a custom drawing in it for $30 (limited to 10 and there are still a few left)
So you guys know that this comic is free, financed on Patreon by its readers- but I actually do a bit more over there. Every half a year or so I release a small book (available in the shop) that sums up some side-project that I usually work on on the Tuesday Streams- projects such as Tentacle Academy, Fairy Guide. The streams are open and available for everyone, but the sketches and illustrations I make there are mostly exclusive to Patreon.
Currently we’re working on an illustrated card deck, with an original picture for every single card! It’s going to work as a standard deck (for poker and such), but also have a bunch of other features, such as themes for every number (Ace is a Hero, 2 is Twins, 6 is Prodigy etc). Here are some sketches for various cards! Check out my Patreon to see more and some finished versions (it’s available for all patrons, no matter the pledge level).
The Fairy Guide to the Western Lands is finished! Herbalist Celia took on the challenge of researching and writing it after sorceress Vilga urged her to do it. Tuck even offered to go with Celia, as a protector and (let’s face it) an expert on fairies and their sexuality.
The book is available to read on Patreon (and to download as a PDF/CBZ for higher Patrons), in digital on Gumroad and Lulu, and as a physical book on Gumroad (with shipping on Fridays).
Tentacle Academy
Tentacle Academy was restocked! I printed another 100 copies. Just like the Fairy Guide, it’s available to read on Patreon (and to download as a PDF/CBZ for higher Patrons), in digital on Gumroad and Lulu, and as a physical book on Gumroad (with shipping on Fridays).
The Cummoner Shop section of the website now has links to every shop and such. I don’t actually sell anything through totempole666.com (there are weird taxes in Europe that other websites will take care of for me), but wanted to have one single page to list available things, books, pdfs and so on. The page isn’t completely finished, some stuff needs additional descriptions etc, but it will be done soon (the TotemPole team is just one man trying to do his best).
I did small printings of the Untitled Sketchbook (100 b&w copies) and of Cummoner: Swallowing dark (50 color copies) for local comic cons in Poland. Now I’m selling the stuff I have left on Gumroad!
They are both 32 pages and will be sent as a priority letter.
Please be aware that I am planning to launch some sort of kickstarter (or alternative that allows for adult content) to print the Cummoner in full (or at least the stuff that’s already published) in several larger, color volumes later this year- this is just a fun little side project made for comic festivals.
ENG: I decided to go ahead and print a small 32-page zine with my sketches. I’ll be selling it at the MFKiG comic festival in Łódź, Poland on Sep 28, along with some of my printed SFW comics. Find me at the booth no 16! The contents are mostly select Patron Sketches, but only those featuring characters from the world of Cummoner. The zine might be available later by mail.
PL: Postanowiłem wydrukować mały, 32-stronicowy zin ze szkicami. Będę sprzedawał go na Międzynarodowym Festiwalu Komiksu i Gier (MFKiG) w Łodzi, 28 września. Zin zawiera głównie wybrane Szkice dla Patronów, ale tylko takie z postaciami ze świata Cummonera. Zin może być potem dostępny drogą pocztową.
Hey guys! Last weekend during the stream, some of you suggested making prints available. I started messing with Society6 (I live in Poland, so producing and shipping them myself would be rather hard), I don’t have a lot of stuff there yet and I’ll be working to get some more up and available. I wanted to hold off on talking at length about this until I do, but Society6 made a promo with worldwide shipping and 5$ off some stuff and I felt it woud be a waste not to share it. http://society6.com/totempole?promo=CGB6P6D8JFXT this link should get you that deal- I’m actually ordering some to check how it works and it seems to be cutting 5$ off every item added to the cart, so it subtracted 10$ for two prints.
Good news! Despite there being a few pledged that were declined, I’m considering the milestone passed! The Cummoner starts updating twice a week, starting tonight. I think I’ll be updating the comic on tuesdays and fridays.
The PDF of the current chapter will arrive on Patreon and Lulu as soon as it’s finished, in just a few pages. I hope the gear-switch will go without any major hiccups, I’ve been building a bit of a buffer of pages and doing concept and storyboarding work on the next chapter for it to go smoothly.
P.s. I don’t write many news-post, so if any of you are interested in some reading, you’re welcome to check out my twitter –https://twitter.com/totem_pole666
I’ve gotten requests from people who’d like to support The Cummoner but can’t or won’t use Patreon. Seeing as Patreon was the only way to get the webcomic chapters in ebook form, I decided to make them also available on Lulu.
Now the webcomic is still free and if you’d like to save all the pages to your hard drive and make a PDF or CBR out of them, you have my blessing!
The ebooks on Lulu are for those I mentioned above, who’d rather not use Patreon to support the comic. And lazy people.
You can get the list of the comics with description HERE. I also created a small chronological list of chapters so it’s easy to check where the bonus stuff fits in the grand scheme of things- it’s in the ABOUT section (also the miniatures above are in the correct order)!
